Test Your Connection™

User Submission Agreement

Effective Date: July 1, 2026

This User Submission Agreement ("Agreement") governs the submission of questions, ideas, suggestions, concepts, feedback, and other materials ("Submissions") to Test Your Connection™ ("Company," "we," "our," or "us").

By submitting any content to Test Your Connection™, whether through our website, mobile applications, social media, email, online forms, conventions, surveys, contests, Kickstarter campaigns, or any other communication channel, you agree to the following:

1. Eligible Submissions

You may voluntarily submit:

  • Questions

  • Prompts

  • Conversation starters

  • Game ideas

  • Expansion concepts

  • Themes

  • Card categories

  • Suggestions

  • Feedback

  • Written content

  • Creative concepts

  • Gameplay recommendations

  • Other original materials

(collectively referred to as "Submissions").

2. Your submission & information

By submitting content, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are the owner of your Submission or have all necessary rights to submit it.

  • Your Submission does not infringe any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other legal rights of any third party.

  • Your Submission is not confidential.

  • Your Submission was not created in violation of any agreement with another person or company.

  • Your Submission does not contain unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, offensive, or infringing material.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit.

Age Requirements

To submit any content to Test Your Connection™, you must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.

If you are under the age of 18, you may only submit content with the knowledge, supervision, and express consent of your parent or legal guardian. By submitting content while under the age of 18, you represent and warrant that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to this Agreement on your behalf and has authorized your Submission.

Test Your Connection™ may, at its sole discretion, refuse, remove, or delete any Submission if we believe the submitter does not meet these age requirements or if the required parental or guardian consent has not been obtained.

By submitting any content, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age; or

  • If you are under 18 years of age, you have obtained the express permission of your parent or legal guardian to submit the content and to be bound by this Agreement.

Any Submission made in violation of this section may be rejected or removed without notice.

Information We Collect

To improve our products, manage our community, administer promotions, process submissions, and communicate with users, Test Your Connection™ may request or collect the following information:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Email Address

  • Age or Age Range

  • State or Province

  • Country of Residence

  • Hobbies and Interests

  • Game Preferences

  • Survey Responses

  • User-Submitted Questions, Ideas, and Feedback

  • Any other information you voluntarily choose to provide.

Providing this information is voluntary unless it is required to participate in a specific promotion, contest, survey, beta program, product registration, warranty claim, or other service.

How We Use Your Information

We may use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries or customer support requests.

  • Send newsletters, product announcements, and marketing communications (where permitted by law).

  • Administer surveys, contests, giveaways, and promotional events.

  • Improve our games, products, services, and user experience.

  • Analyze customer demographics, interests, and gameplay trends.

  • Develop new products, expansion packs, and future releases.

  • Verify eligibility for promotions or community programs.

  • Detect fraud, abuse, or unauthorized activity.

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

We may aggregate or anonymize information for research, analytics, business planning, and product development. Aggregated or de-identified information does not identify individual users and may be used for any lawful business purpose.

Marketing Communications

By voluntarily providing your email address, you consent to receive communications from Test Your Connection™ regarding our products, events, Kickstarter campaigns, promotions, updates, surveys, and other marketing materials, where permitted by applicable law.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link included in our emails or by contacting us directly. Opting out of marketing communications does not affect transactional or service-related communications.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for monetary compensation.

We may share your information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our business, including payment processors, email marketing platforms, website hosting providers, analytics providers, shipping partners, customer support platforms, and other vendors who process information on our behalf under appropriate contractual obligations.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our legal rights, enforce our agreements, prevent fraud or security incidents, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or a portion of our business.

User Acknowledgement

By providing your personal information to Test Your Connection™, you acknowledge that:

  • The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

  • You are providing the information voluntarily.

  • You understand how your information may be used as described in our Privacy Policy.

  • You consent to the collection, storage, processing, and use of your information for the purposes described herein.

  • If you are under 18 years of age, your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and consented to the collection and use of your information as described in these policies.

3. License Granted to Test Your Connection ™

By submitting any Submission, you grant Test Your Connection™, its affiliates, successors, licensees, distributors, partners, and assigns a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, transferable, sublicensable, non-exclusive license to:

  • Use

  • Copy

  • Edit

  • Modify

  • Adapt

  • Translate

  • Publish

  • Display

  • Perform

  • Reproduce

  • Distribute

  • Manufacture

  • Market

  • Sell

  • License

  • Create derivative works from

  • Incorporate into existing or future products

  • Commercially exploit

your Submission in any medium or format now known or later developed.

This license includes, without limitation, use in:

  • Board games

  • Expansion packs

  • Card decks

  • Mobile applications

  • Digital games

  • Printed products

  • Educational materials

  • Merchandise

  • Marketing campaigns

  • Videos

  • Social media

  • Advertising

  • Future products and services

This license is perpetual and survives termination of this Agreement.

4. No Compensation

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your Submission is voluntary.

  • You are not entitled to payment, royalties, licensing fees, prizes, ownership interests, or any other compensation.

  • We are under no obligation to credit you for your Submission, although we may do so at our sole discretion.

5. Similar Ideas

You acknowledge that Test Your Connection™ develops products involving conversation prompts, questions, game mechanics, and creative content.

Accordingly, you understand and agree that:

  • We may already possess ideas, questions, prompts, themes, mechanics, or concepts that are identical or substantially similar to your Submission.

  • We may independently develop similar ideas without reference to your Submission.

  • We may receive similar submissions from other individuals.

You agree that you will not assert any claim against Test Your Connection™ based solely on the fact that our products, services, or future developments contain content that is identical or substantially similar to your Submission.

6. Existing Intellectual Property

Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership of any intellectual property owned by Test Your Connection™.

Our existing and future:

  • Question database

  • Card wording

  • Selection and arrangement of questions

  • Categories

  • Expansion packs

  • Rules

  • Artwork

  • Branding

  • Trademarks

  • Logos

  • Packaging

  • Marketing materials

  • Website content

  • Digital content

  • Software

  • Audio

  • Visual assets

remain the exclusive property of Test Your Connection™.

Submitting content does not create any ownership interest in our products or intellectual property.

7. Database Protection

Test Your Connection™ maintains a proprietary and continually evolving collection of questions, prompts, themes, and gameplay content.

You acknowledge that:

  • Similarity between your Submission and our existing database does not establish ownership or infringement.

  • Our database may contain identical or substantially similar questions developed independently or submitted by others.

  • We reserve the unrestricted right to continue creating, modifying, expanding, licensing, and commercializing our database.

8. No Confidential Relationship

Submissions are made voluntarily and are not confidential.

Submitting content does not create:

  • A partnership

  • Employment relationship

  • Joint venture

  • Agency relationship

  • Fiduciary duty

  • Confidential relationship

between you and Test Your Connection™.

9. Right to Use or Decline

We have no obligation to:

  • Review your Submission.

  • Respond to your Submission.

  • Use your Submission.

  • Return your Submission.

  • Preserve your Submission.

We may edit, combine, modify, remove, reject, or delete any Submission at our sole discretion.

10. AI and Data Usage

By submitting content, you acknowledge that Test Your Connection™ may use your Submission in connection with technologies that assist in product development, content management, analytics, localization, quality assurance, and other internal business operations.

Nothing in this Agreement grants you permission to use Test Your Connection™'s proprietary question database, card content, or other intellectual property to train artificial intelligence systems, create derivative datasets, scrape our content, or develop competing products or services.

11. Waiver of Claims

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive and release any claims against Test Your Connection™, including claims based upon:

  • Similar ideas

  • Implied compensation

  • Misappropriation of ideas

  • Unjust enrichment

  • Breach of implied contract

  • Attribution

  • Ownership arising solely from your Submission

except for claims that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Test Your Connection™, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, successors, licensors, distributors, and assigns from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising out of:

  • Your Submission.

  • Your breach of this Agreement.

  • Your infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state in which Test Your Connection™ is organized, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

14. Changes to this Agreement

We may modify this Agreement at any time by posting an updated version on our website. Continued submission of content after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.

Acceptance

By submitting any question, prompt, idea, suggestion, feedback, or other content to Test Your Connection™, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this User Submission Agreement.
