1. Intellectual Property

All content created, owned, licensed, or published by Test Your Connection™, including but not limited to:

  • Card categories

  • Expansion packs

  • Written content

  • Product names

  • Branding

  • Logos

  • Artwork

  • Graphics

  • Videos

  • Marketing materials

  • Website content

  • Packaging

  • Digital downloads

  • Databases

  • Software

  • Audio

  • Visual assets

are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, trade dress, database, and other intellectual property laws.

No ownership rights are transferred by purchasing, viewing, downloading, or using our products or services.

2. Restrictions on Use

Unless expressly authorized in writing by Test Your Connection™, you may not:

  • Copy or reproduce our questions or card content.

  • Republish our content.

  • Sell or resell our questions.

  • Create competing products using our database.

  • License our content.

  • Distribute our questions.

  • Upload our content to public databases.

  • Train artificial intelligence or machine learning models using our content.

  • Scrape, harvest, extract, or systematically collect our questions or database.

  • Create derivative works based on our proprietary question compilations.

  • Commercialize any portion of our game or question database.

Personal gameplay is permitted.

Commercial use is prohibited without prior written permission.

3. User Question Submissions

We welcome ideas from our community.

When you submit any:

  • Question

  • Prompt

  • Challenge

  • Suggestion

  • Idea

  • Feedback

  • Concept

  • Expansion idea

  • Theme

  • Written content

("Submission"), you agree to the following.

Ownership

You represent that you own or have permission to submit your content.

License Granted

You grant Test Your Connection™ a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, transferable, sublicensable, non-exclusive license to:

  • Use

  • Copy

  • Edit

  • Modify

  • Adapt

  • Translate

  • Publish

  • Reproduce

  • Display

  • Perform

  • Manufacture

  • Market

  • Sell

  • License

  • Incorporate

  • Create derivative works from

your Submission in any current or future medium.

This license survives termination of your account or relationship with Test Your Connection™.

4. No Compensation

You understand and agree that:

  • You will not receive payment.

  • You will not receive royalties.

  • You will not receive ownership.

  • You will not receive licensing fees.

  • You will not receive credit unless we choose to provide it.

Submissions become available for use by Test Your Connection™ without further permission.

5. Similar Ideas

Because thousands of people may submit ideas, you acknowledge that:

  • We may already possess identical or substantially similar questions.

  • We may independently create similar ideas.

  • We may receive similar submissions from other users.

You agree that similarity alone does not create any ownership interest or entitlement to compensation.

You waive any claim arising solely because our products contain questions, prompts, mechanics, or ideas that resemble your Submission.

6. Existing Question Database

Test Your Connection™ maintains and continually develops a proprietary database of questions, prompts, categories, and game content.

Nothing submitted by a user shall:

  • Transfer ownership of our database.

  • Limit our future development.

  • Restrict our use of similar content.

  • Prevent us from publishing similar questions.

Our database remains our exclusive intellectual property.

7. AI & Data Protection

Without our prior written consent, you may not use Test Your Connection™ content to:

  • Train AI models.

  • Fine-tune language models.

  • Generate competing datasets.

  • Build question generators.

  • Populate databases.

  • Create automated services.

  • Create derivative AI products.

This restriction applies whether performed manually or through automated software, bots, crawlers, APIs, or scraping technologies.

8. No Confidential Relationship

Submissions are voluntary.

They are not confidential.

Submitting content does not create:

  • Employment

  • Partnership

  • Agency

  • Joint venture

  • Fiduciary relationship

between you and Test Your Connection™.

9. Right to Use or Reject

We reserve the sole right to:

  • Use or not use any Submission.

  • Edit Submissions.

  • Combine Submissions.

  • Remove Submissions.

  • Delete Submissions.

  • Publish Submissions.

  • Decline Submissions.

without notice or explanation.

10. User Representations

You agree that your Submission:

  • Does not infringe another person's rights.

  • Is not confidential.

  • Does not violate copyright.

  • Does not violate trademark rights.

  • Does not violate publicity or privacy rights.

  • Does not contain unlawful material.

You are solely responsible for your Submission.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Test Your Connection™, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, successors, licensees, and assigns from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your Submission, your use of our products or services, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Enforcement

Unauthorized copying, commercial use, scraping, redistribution, or exploitation of our intellectual property may result in legal action, including claims for injunctive relief, monetary damages, attorneys' fees, and any other remedies available under applicable law.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which Test Your Connection™ is organized, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our products, website, or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
